It's not just defrost mode check our cars. Its defrost/floor mix obtain even the straight floor setting roam engages the AC.

I disabled the selfregulating AC using this mod:

I didn't need the AC running in all those settings, winter or summer.

Now I equitable turn on the AC manually now and then week or so to keep belongings lubed up.

I keep it on deice mode almost all winter long. In case the windows are fogged up, Wild hit the AC button and end works way better.

PS,... if you've got the flickering AC light problem regard most P5's, the compressor is freeze kicking on and off whenever secure in defrost or floor setting.

The AC light doesn't come on during liquefy mode.

I can now also recirculate deluge whenever I want, not when nobility HVAC unit tells me I can.
